About Us

Wilf and Willow’s Perfect Little Cakery was born out of love, passion, and a desire to give back. Created by siblings Wilf and Willow, the range of delicious cakes reflects not only their favourite flavours but also their personal connection to Sheffield’s Jessops Hospital, where they both started their journeys.

Willow, now 15, is a vibrant young lady with a love for horses and, of course, cakes. Wilf, 9, is an energetic boy who loves football, gymnastics, and gaming. However, Wilfs path hasnt always been easy. He was born on January 27th, 2016, at Jessops Hospital, and his birth was complicated. Wilf was diagnosed with Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), a condition where a babys brain doesnt get enough oxygen and blood flow. Rushed to the NICU, Wilf was placed on a cooling table to lower his body temperature, giving his brain a chance to recover. Spending many a day in the NICU unit within the Jessops hospital. Luckily, Wilf with the help of the doctors and Nurses Wilf made a full recovery.

Partnering with the Bright Young Minds Charity, is a way for us to give back to the hospital but also to help fund much needed help and research into child mental health, not only in Shefield, but the whole of the UK

Through their cakes, Wilf and Willow get to share their love for delicious treats and contribute to the hospital that gave them so much. Its their way of saying thank you and helping others who need it most.

Bright Young Dreams

“Mental Health in children is at breaking point across the world. As a Mum it breaks my heart. We can do so much more, and we need to! I want to create a legacy that can define a future pathway for better care for the children of tomorrow. Sheffield is my hometown, and Sheffield Children’s is at the forefront of pediatric care in the UK, and beyond – and they have big ambitions to make a difference across the world.

I’ve seen first hand the work that is being done, but more funding is needed to help more children, and more research is needed that must be shared with the world. Dan, Jon, Lucy and I need your help to make sure future generations get the Mental Health care & support they deserve. Mental Health & Wellbeing underpins everything, and it is an area that needs much needed attention, funding and clinical support.”
